What makes you think it's rice? I think it's badass!!!

What about the ones on the BMW Z4? It's pretty much the same concept. It lights up when you put your turn signal on.

Oh c'mon guys, I HATE rice as much as the next guy, but this IMO is a tasteful mod.

 

Like most anything that has to do with aesthetics it is relative to the beholder. Same vein as: Is this art?


I have a non-car enthusiast friend that defines 'rice' as ANY japanese car that has a performance or appearance modification. Just a matter of individual perspective and definition.

 

evo's come w/ altezza tailights.. does that mean they wouldn't be considered rice if someone got them for their?

 

It clearly states in the Purchase Agreement for the Zzzz that alterations such as you propose violate the Agreement, that you are no longer qualified to own a Zzzzz, & the car will be repossed & given to a person with taste/class!!

If ask someone to put on his Aston Martin ? must be an Idiot! especially with that clip clap ornament.
If ask someone to put on his z? (in this case, your z).. then it depends.

I wouldn't do it... but its alright on other people's rides.

 

I dont think it is bad...If just the three little dots in the Z lit up and the ring around it I think I'd buy them. I def. wouldn't see them and think rice anyway, after all they are amber. Blue/green etc diff story. Amber keeps it oem/classy + I would feel safer on the highway if I had some sidemarkers.
