Here we go,
27, single
record,
2 tickets in last 3 years (both go off in Oct/Nov)
Current cars,
1999 Honda Civic Si (full coverage)
1984 VW Rabbit GTI (comprehensive/liability only)
1983 VW Rabbit GTI (comprehensive/liability only)
1967 Olds 442 W-30 Convertible (full coverage and appraised value of $24k)
Current insurance: $688 / year
According to my insurance agent, my new rate should only go up $100 a year if I get rid of the Honda and the insurance companies don't freak out over the new Z.

1 was quoted for a performance model with a 25% surcharge for same at $1215 per year. I will have a 2 car discount plus all the safety gear and my house as well. The quote is within $5 of all of the above and what I paid for my 97 Accord EX 5spd! The Accord 94-97 has one of the highest theft rates in the US. I will pay almost $12,000 more for the Z but the rate is virtually the same. Farmer's insurance in the Heartland.
