WoW!
I went to my local Nissan Dealership in Freehold NJ and while looking at a base brickyard that was priced at 28+!!!, I asked a sales guy if I plan to buy the car in June, when should I pre-order. He tells me Feb!!!! For June? Does anyone think this is right. I just want a Daytona Blue Enthusiast. Would love to get leather in it some how. Is it an option from the factory yet? Can I get it from the dealer? Or should I try to find a totaled Z with salvagable leather. Daytona Blue with Burnt Orange would be sweet. I also mentioned to the guy that I was concerned that the Bose stereos were having problems. He said he never heard of such a thing and Nissan has been putting them in for years... why would they have a problem now. What a ******** artist. Hate salesmen, even though I work in ad sales!
God I wanted to bring it home!

I don't think so. I'd order it 2.5 months early, if you even want to. And you probably won't even need to order by then. It'll probably just be available at a dealer near you.
He's just telling you that so you'll keep in touch with him.

Would Nissan do that color combo or can the dealer order the seats after? I'm sure if I pay a company on the internet to find me the parts around then the could probably find the seats or just ask people around here.
Leather is a dealer option and runs $950. You can't get the actual burnt orange though; you choose from a palate of aftermarket colors, which includes orange, but it is more orange than the burnt orange that comes from the factory. You would have to go elsewhere and pay a premium to be able to get it. Also, the aftermarket leather is all solid; no perferated center sections.
The Bose system in pre-order cars had an issue with the Sub amp and only affected cars within a certain VIN range and should be fixed now, however, the Bose system can only be had in the Touring model, so you won't have to worry about it.
