When I picked up my Z this week, there was another Z owner there who said that he put 100 octane fuel in his Z (available at a few stations in San Jose) and the power difference was "night and day". Has anyone here tried this? Could this damage the Z engine in any way?

Does it contain alcohol or methenol? If is does, I wouldn't use it. I know Nissan says you can run your car on 5% alcohol, but I just won't use it. I had a very bad experience in the Rockies several years ago and I don't want it to happen again. Your call, I just won't use it.
