Default Nav tv it works

I went to nav tv yesterday and they did it. The dvds play right on the nav screen. Thanks to Internetabyss I got a great deal on it. The guys at nav tv are great very nice guys they are very good at what they do. The owner looked at the lines everyone else had and said oh its out of sync cut a couple of wires and it worked. He had it figured out in about 2 seconds. While I was there I had them install a backup camera and hardwire my radar detector. The install was so clean you cant even tell it was done at all I have alot of pics I have to upload to my computer I got home late so I didnt get a chance to do it yet. For anyone in a few hundred mile radius I say go to the masters at Nav tv. Anyone who is worried about going to brooklyn like prior posts dont be its a great area and its very close to major highways very easy to get to.

Default congrats RC

If we want this done to our cars where do we do it? Any premier local stereo shop?

I know you got a great deal - how much will it cost the rest of us, parts + labor?

I have the NAV DVD-ROM in my Track model, what do they have to do in order to get normal DVDs to play?

Please let us know the details.

Default nav tv

Nav tv sells wholesale to any steroe shop with instructions on doing the install so just tell your shop to get the equipment from nav tv and they can do the install. The equipment costs $700 the labor would be up to your shop. I had the backup camera put in so whenever I put the car in reverse the nav screen shows whats behind me(very cool)and it works in both nav or dvd mode. The dvd player thats in the car doesnt have the decoder to play dvds so you need to add a second one I put mine iinside of the compartment next to the stock dvd and set it back far enough so you can close the door so you cant see it. Nav tv then installed a remote ir sensor so I can keep the door closed on the compartment and use the remote control for playing dvds. The swtch to go from dvd to nav is in the dead switch spot next to the vcs switch. Its sooooooo clean if you look in the car you dont see a thing. Nav tv put the reverse camera in the license plate so you cant see that either.

Thumbs up ok so nav-tv works....how do you...

Hook up the sound for dvd movies..tv tuner etc. to a new stereo head unit..for instance a sony wx-7700mdx. I want the sound to loud as I can handle! Also does a 10" different sub. installed in an enclosure where the old stock one was, sound good or not? Can you play dvds while driving? no cut off mechanism???

sound via RF modulator...it tunes by a fm station....I strongly recommend the clarion with volume adjustment.

yes you can add a tv tuner and antenna.

Its a monitor...once you do the rgb mod....you can do anything you can dream off.

The cost is up to you once you have the rgb convertor....all the parts you want to add to anymonitor....you can shop around. BUT you need the RGB from NAV-TV.com

Where did you put the switches that control where your video source is coming from?
