Default oem sway bar

Do you guys know if this is adjustable? I noticed it is off center ever since removing it. I tried taking it out and only got to one side and had a hard time trying to pry it off. I decided against removing it afterall. While trying to put back the bolts, I ended up stripping both the bolt and the area where it goes back in.

Second question is, Are you guys familiar w/ a tap and die set?

I just wanted to know which brand is better than the other and how easy is it to use?

For stock sways, what's the area on the left side for where it looks like you can get a wrench and turn it?

1. Craftsman: You really can only use it if you have threads to grab. You also need to know how many threads per inch.

2. not sure

I think he's talking about the front strut tower bar. Tap and die sets are good and easy to use, just remember to use the right size tap/die, do this by matching the bolt up to the tap/die. And buy a metric set, cause nothing on the car should be standard. Always start it by hand so you don't thread it in crooked.

sway bar and strut bar are differnent things; which one are you referring to? i think you are referring to the strut tower bar. that area on the passenger side of the oem strut tower bar, where you can wrench, is there to aid in install and removal of the bar.
i dont think there is such a thing as an adjustable strut tower bar....(i am not talking about the sway bar, btw)

How is the strut bar not adjustable? I removed it today and tried to put it back on but the bolt would not allign on one side after screwing in the bolts on the other side. I don't know how nissan can put that strut bar on w/out having to adjust it because there's no way putting the screws back on because it ends up being short on one end. I believe ssc is right because it looks like I can use a wrench and adjust it.

I thought you meant the bar under your car not over your engine. Yes it looks to be adj.
