The Nissan 2005 350Z book lists cruise control standard on the base. I've been trying to drive a 05 base but the dealers keep giving me 04 bases or 05 enthusiast/touring models. When I ask them about the cruise it's about 50/50 that it has it or not. Can someone who has an 05 base let me know?

 

I know someone who has a base 05 and he does not have cruise control on his car..

 

I am 100% sure that the 2003-2005 does NOT come with Cruise Control:

Thanks, the Nissan brochure must have been a typo that slipped by.

 

No need for cruise control, too much fun speeding up and slowing down!

 

i see those constantly, one of the brochures has the paints all messed up.

 

Nissan doesn't even list them right on their own website. Silverstone color is Chrome Silver and vice versa, I told them to correct, I haven't checked in a while, brb.

Personally, I think Cruise Control is a non-essential item on a manual tranny car, unless you do plan on doing a lot of long distance driving....Automatic tranny cars and cruise control belong together IMO...

I have a '05 Base model...No cruise control...if you had it ...It would be located on the steering wheel.

 

I live in atlanta and cruise can rarely be used as in any major city. I do miss it on vacation but that's once a year.

 

That's mainly why I want it, so if I travel long distance I can use it. My current car doesn't have cruise and I've had to drive long distances cross country and over mountains. It's definately more tiring doing it without cruise.

 

If you travel the highways a lot, especially for work, you'll need the Enthusiast model with cruise. Plus you're up north and you will need traction control.

 

Actually in the base, the cruise module IS present.

Look right above your pedals. You'll see a module that is wrapped up and not plugged into anything.
