Test Drove a Z today...
'04 Touring I believe it was. Damn, I want this car now.
Sitting in it, its VERY small, but I like that compact feeling. Makes you feel like the car is part of you.
The salesman was GREAT. He drove it down to the gas station (she was on E!!!
) and then let me take it over from there. We took some backroads and twisties (NICE) and then I punched it good and hard once or twice.
I'm sold. Now I just gotta save up the $$ and then I'm going back in March to see if they can find a PPW Track or order one if I have to.
Btw, there was no haggling. He told me I could get anything on the car I wanted and it would only cost $500 over Invoice, which is exactly what I wanted to get.

Sorry to foncuse you all. No, I don't have a Z yet (see sig) but I've been looking at them for a couple of months now and this recent offer and test-drive kinda cemented it for me!
No, I'm currently parting out what aftermarket parts I have on it, returning it to mostly stock and selling it privately. It still has 1yr/25k mile warranty on it (I bought it for 5yr/100k). Its going to be a major portion of my down payment.

Hahaha, I can totally relate. My wife and I drove a G35, with the salesman practically sitting in my ***..he was **** about everything. Totally blew us off really. I think it is because my wife and I are in our mid 20's..
We stopped at the Nissan dealership and they were actually closing. We saw a Roadster and started looking at it. The guy walked up to us and asked if we wanted to drive it. I of course said yes, and he threw me the keys. Told me he had to stay for another 30 minutes or so, because of another customer.
That was it. We drove it to a nearby school and gave it a hard looking over.
1 week later after haggling on the price, we bought it.

I figure with the money i saved up...a decent trade in and if i can get back about $3000+ from my aftermarket parts on my accord, i should have enough money to pay the Z off. Anyways, good luck your getting Z.

yeah..i'm doing the same right now. But my accord is alot harder to sell privately than a prelude so i'm going to just trade it in.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
Yeah boy, I test drove an 05 Touring this week, maybe i shouldn't have. I have wanted to get a new Z since I first heard they were coming out back in 2001-02. I am almost to the point where I can now and that test drive really almost made me do something incredibly stupid. Good luck with you new car. Hopefully it will be your PPW Track
