Angry Almost got &$*$($ Bike-Jacked

Guys i know this is a 350Z forum but i just had to vent this out!

Today was a really sunny day, nice and warm (which doesnt happen often) so i though that it would be great to go drive my CBR...

So i was having this really good time, and the darkness starts setting in, so i went to the local macdonalds and i got something to eat, met some friends there and had some laughs...

So by the time i get out it's 20.00 hour or something like that, so i get on my bike and start heading home.

So i'm driving in a fairly quiet part of town and i see some guys (don't know what age) standing on the sidewalk, and i notice that they are giving me a stop signal.

(Check 2nd post, story is too long for 1 post)

But after a half a second, i decide that it's a little strange for these guys to be standing here in the dark and waving to me so i go down one gear and was just about to hit the throttle, when suddenly someone from the OTHER side of the road runs towards me, and i was like F*** that this ain't right, and while i was accelerating he hit me on the arm with an object (it felt like a bat or 4x4 or something, but since i was accelerating it felt like a 18 wheeler) and i guess he was trying to hit me on the helmet, so he wacks my left arm of the steering wheel and i almost hit the curb, but luckely i was able to regain control, and i heared something pop, and now my arm is sore as hell, so maybe it was dislocated for a second (Is that possible?)

2km later (driving like a madman with one functional arm, and grabbing the clutch hurt like hell) i finally run into a patrol car and tell them what happened, so the police car rushes of to go investigate and he called for another unit, which came 5 minutes later. and they brought me to the hospital, and a police van picked up my motorcycle, but the hospital tells me my arm is going to be black tommorow but didn't find any fractures, after that they brought me home and tomorrow i have to come in and complete my statement, because they thought it was too much of a shock to do it now.

What the hell is this world coming to??? Thank you guys for letting me vent my anger, needed that alott right now!

unbelievable! thank god you were able to regain control and get out of there. No telling what would have happened to you, its very possible you could have been hurt or killed depending on what type of thieves they were. scary! glad you are okay!

Thanks conceyted for the support!

It happens alot around here lately, especially carjacking.

But i'm pretty positive they were aiming for the head... sure it may be effective, but i'm pretty sure that if you get a bat to your helmet @ 30 mph you get launched off without a doubt, so this is really crazy.

Last year a moped driver got killed here because a bunch of thieves put a wire across the bicycle/moped path, the guy was driving a 25 km/h (15mph) moped, and he wasn't wearing a helmet (it's legal on a 25km/h moped to not wear a helmet) so he hit the wire in the dark and fell of backwards, smashed his skull on the street... end of story... Sick F***s!

I am normally not a believer in violence, even if it is in self defense (except for obvious or extreme cases) but with this kind of stuff going on, I would be sure to carry some form of protection on my while riding. Not sure what gun laws are around there but this doesnt sound safe at all to be even riding on a bike. Maybe keep your riding strictly to day rides untill this dies down?

Glad to hear you got away. It's not that uncommon up hear in the DC area either. People have been bike jacked at gunpoint at intersections and sometimes theives will go to bike hangouts with helmets and will jack you while you're getting on your bike. So depending on where you're going it's sometimes best not to ride by yourself.

Neo, fellow biker here, glad to hear you got through that. Sorry to hear it happened. I tell you, as a biker, you will run into these jerks. I have a pretty nice looking Harley and I ride with one eye in the mirror watching to see if I'm being followed. I don't know how to explain why people are like this. Just watch your ***, on a bike you are truly alone. Don't be swayed....ride to live bud!!!

Glad nothings broke and hope those guys get jumped the next time they try to take something.

I have a buddy in New Jersey that can have those guys "sleep with the fishes"

I worry about that sort of thing when I have the top down on my Z. Lucky me has a can of mace in the drivers side pocket attached with velcrow for use in "special" occasions.

Glad to hear you are OK nun the less...

Z OWNERS....UNITE!!!!

that sure sucks man. My advice is to be armed at all times. It's the best life insurance you can buy for $300-$500

oh crap....yeah, euro-socialism is a b!tch. Just glad to hear that you weren't hurt any worse than you were. I just hope those guys get accidentally castrated by the chain of the next bike they try to jump on.
