Leather seat redo's
I just spoke with the regional Sales Mgr. at Classic Soft Trim in NorCal and here's the latest for those considering either changing to leather from cloth or just want another color.
- The seat pattern is available (has been for a while now)
- They will have access to the Burnt Orange color (it was uncertain before)
- A price still has not been established. His ruff estimate is around $1100-1200. I know this seems high. He said just because it's only 2 seats doesn't mean that it would be half the cost of a full sedan (approx. $1500)
- They need to get their hands on a car to calculate a price. He said it's highly likely that the first dealer to offer a car would probably get the makeover for free. This could mean a huge discount for the cars owner. So anybody in the LA area that is planning on doing leather may want to contact their dealer and try to get something arranged. Your car would be out of commission for about 7-10 days (at least the seats anyway).
Just thought you guys/gals would like to know.
