Default Quick question about clear corners

I was about to order a set of clear corners from courtesy nissan but I found them on ebay for $20 instead of $50. I just got them today and it doesn't look like its supposed to light up. Do the stock ones on the bumper light up?

To get the clear corners to light up, have to go custom....check on Ares product in the Inventors Classified section....have had his for 6 months now & work perfect! Beautiful addition.....

Wait, so there is no bulb behind the lenses that light up? Its the actual corner lense itself that lights up?

i'm pretty sure mantis is talking about the vertical clear corners that go in for the stock amber reflectors...no lights

Remember that if you replace these reflectors AND the amber reflector strip in the headlamp assembly that your car is no longer street legal. The law dictates that you MUST have an amber reflector in front of the front tire. The Z in stock form has two.

negative, only 1. the amber strip does not reflect, it is just amber, thus not qualified. details details.

either way, the stuff you bought off ebay may or may not be the "same". there are now a second style floating around. I know this because a member that made his own LED sidemarkers I was helping, and he bought them off ebay, only to find they were nothing alike, the pattern was in the plastic backing; not the clear reflector like the nissan ones. that probably makes no sense, but trust me, this new style doesnt work at all for lighting modifications, has to be the nissan part. it should say nissan on the back and come in this gray box if its nissan.

Ok, NOW I'm clear on WHAT we're talking about.

So neither the OEM or aftermarket light up? They just reflect? Thats weak.

I figured the graphic would help.

RE: they don't light up...

Some do, some don't. You can get ones that light up that look like the OEM ones (with single or double strips of LEDs), and ones that are just in the same shape, but don't really look OEM, like...
