I walked into a dealer to get a brochure, and found an unsold, already ordered allocation for a Performance model. I paid the deposit on the spot, and got my VIN Number Thursday . The dealer says to expect delivery December 10th. Are dealers generally being able to estimate deliveries accurately, or do I need to be prepared for delayed delivery.

I'm not griping - Just curious. I know a month wait is extremely fortunate.

 

Well, if they have the VIN, figure 3 weeks on the boat and a week or so delivery from port.

Just curious. Did you get it for MSRP or some amount over?

Straight up MSRP. They even let me test drive one that had just finished prep. I couldn't believe it. I felt bad about abusing another guys car, so I just drove it around the parking lot.

I thought so too, but I couldn't help myself. I figure what goes around, comes around and mine will have a couple of butts in it before I pick it up. They did say it was one of the sales guy's, or a friend of one of the guy's or something like that...
