Default Nissan's Rearview Camera (Optional in Japan, not here)

http://www.nissan.co.jp/OPTIONAL-PAR...OTHER/fsv.html

If you look closely, you can see a Skyline has one and even our Z's have one.

Why oh why wouldn't Nissan release this for the American market?

Because it's not a requirement. Once the Goverment tells Nissan to install it, they will. Until then, The american consumer are not willing to pay for those feature in a sports car.

It's pretty cool, but kinda expensive. It work well with SUVs, but I can't see alot of people wanting it on their Z.

Just mindless rambling about all the cool gadgets that the Japenese get.

Having a factory rearview camera would be cool, but what would help a little more is a front camera (so you don't scrap the front bumper). I always seem to scrap the front spoiler from time to time.

I wouldn't use it too often, but it would be sweet to tell people you've got a camera in your Z.

camera cost less than $100. You install it at the same time you install your HU.

HU is the head unit. Use any head unit that has video in/out then you will be fine. Go to ebay, search for rear cam. Get on of those, install in.
