- Off the line acceleration (most important to me)
*I have never wanted for any power off the line...but then I hae
do not get into stop light challenges...always hwy, which is
where the Z seems to excell...I use mine on hwy...got
challenged by a Lightning, and I was VERY pleased with
the Z(Lightning could not overtake).

- High-speed handling / going fast into turns
*Excellent handling...as long as you keep the the car ballanced
if you change the balance of this vehicle, highspeed or low
speed, with EXCESSIVE brake or acceleration torque....you
had better be a good driver....
- Traction
with the torque of this car, I can spin the tires easily...I am
running OEM tires...

- Feel of the 5-speed manumatic in shifting
*I have an 04...love using this going up the gears...
has a little delay but is easily accounted for...do not usually
downshift below 3rd...

- overall build Quality
*I think the build quality is very good...excellent fit and
finish....materials are matched for a sports car...much
better than STI or WRX

Any good dealers around the Chicago area who you'd recommend?

although Continental Nissan in Lagrange did not have the
vehicle I wanted, they were EXCELLENT when I was shopping.

the z looks awesome, is awesome, perfectly balanced and precise. honkin' fast off the line with AT tires spin all the way if you lay into it. what more do you want for the $$$.

the new mustang i was really disappointed with. i expected it to drive appreciably better than the last but no, still very imprecise and cumbersome, ponderous. totally uncomfortable for anyone over 6'1 knees hit dash. awful. sorry mustang dudes, i really wanted to get one too.

Jesus. Maybe you should re-think your decision to purchase a $25,000+ car when you already owe $18,000 on the WRX.

If you're really concerned with the WRX's speed off the line, try trading it in for a 5sp and see if that helps. I've only heard bad things about the AT WRX's gearing and how it really makes the engine bog off the line.
