Angry SHlTTY factory jack!

So i was changing out my brake pads with my friend today and anyways we had the factory jack up on the correct jack point but i guess the jack was a little warped. Anyways while the rim and tire was off i go inside for a sec and i walk inside and see that the jack fell from under the car. LUCKILY the car fell on the jack which fell on its side and didnt hurt the suspension or rotor at all. NEVERTHELESS i now have a nice gouge in the bottom of the sideskirt which is actually visible if u look at my car from about 30-40ft away...its not a HUGE deal but the jack is RUINED and warped beyond functioning. WHERE is the cheapest place to buy another factory jack? nissan dealership wants $122 to order one....****

Go to your local auto parts stor. Fet a hydraulic jack for between $20 and $50 bucks. Why would you want another factory jack? they suck.

That sucks dude. Try searching on Ebay or post a "Wanted" thread in the For Sale forum. If and when you get another factory jack, I recommend getting a hydraulic one if you'll be working on your car at home. Just save the factory jack for emergency use.

this is why you use a proper hydraulic jack, and use jack stands. good thing you weren't under the car.

for in your car, just carry a can of fix-a flat, unless going on a road trip, where you dont know where the tire stores are and then carry your spare and jack.....

The factory jack is for emergency use only. It's not meant for maintenance work.
