Well, actually it's not a Z, but it has the heart and soul of a Z. The engine! This episode's challenge was to build a drift car with a Z engine. The results were pretty cool! Awesome driving by a professional drifter (with a Silva, I think)! Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else cought the episode.
yeah, that episode was hilarious. a honey bee datsun b210 with 350Z motor drifting with Jesse James against Ken Gushi and his 240sx. The funny thing was that b210 had power but the suspension was stock so it was leaning like crazy, but it still managed to do some drifting at irwindale raceway.
Yeah I got to see it in Hi-Def last night around midnight eastern time. I missed it when it originally aired. Man Rhys Millen really gave that Honey Bee a thrashing when they were testing the car before the tools were given out. I like how they had to make a new throttle body setup due to the electronic throttle.
man i want that interior of the old z...anyone noticed jessie james drft for the 1st time that sucka got SIDEWAYS...lost it..but did pretty good the 2nd time...and probably would have done better w some suspension work=)
Yeah the suspenion was pretty ghetto, all they did was cut the stock springs. I really did like the paint either, what happened to putting flames on all the cars?
