I received today the gift from Nissan. Wow is it nice. It is a nice black case with the Z logo on the front and inside is the Lust, Then Love book as well as two different Z brochures. I am impressed!

When did you pre-order and what part of the country are you in.

We pre-ordered our Redline in early February and still haven't received or heard a thing about this "Nissan Gift". Trying to track down a hard following on it is also tough since they don't seem to follow any direction.

Had a knock on the door around noon from the UPS man.. He had a big flat box that required a signature.. It's was the gift from Nissan.. really nice, well done book.. I enjoyed the stories and photo's since I've owned several Z's including a 1970 & 71 240Z and a 1976 260Z..

hey steve, i had a 260z also, and from my knowledge, the 260's were only produced during 1974, with a slight change in bumper size in 1974 & 1/2, still retaining the 260 badge. then it was replaced by the 280z in 1977. was it a type-o? just wondering

 

A UPS package came for me yesterday and nobody was home to sign for it - had it redirected to my office - I'm hoping that was it...I've been waiting for a while now...

I got mine in NJ yesterday as well...very classy move by Nissan. You can definitely tell that there are a lot of people that put their hearts into this project. Thanks Nissan!

I love how every single picture of the car hauling *** in the brochure is noted with the diclaimer *professional driver on closed circuit...don't try this at home kids.

Got mine yesterday, ordered Jan 20. Kudos to Nissan, an unexpected pleasure.

 

Mine came today. That 2nd book is the same as the sales brochure my dealer gave me on delivery. Swell stuff and as the guy said earlier "excellent bathroom material".

 

Got my gift today. Very nice packaging from Nissan - I'm going to store everything in a safe place for a collector years down the road.

Now I have 3 of the Lust, then Love books (including this one I just got from Nissan). Guess I'll be selling a couple of them on ebay!

 

Yah, I opened it, but not the sealed book inside. I think I'll put it all away for some later time. I still think it would be nice for Nissan to give us something to put in the Z. A limited edition key or keychain, a small plaque, something like that.

Got mine today, ordered Feb 14th. Kudos to Nissan for doing something the in country folks don’t. Just wish that they would have matched the VIN with the numbered books.

 

I recieved mine this evening too.. UPS guy at the door.. opened and viewed.. didnt open the sealed numbered portion...

Love the texture of the book.. Iwill take it to work and let everyone check it out...
