Dude I used OPERA web Browser, disabled cookies and pumped another 300 votes in there to make it 40.1% it took only 1.5 minutes. Just keep your mouse button on the VOTE button click it then press ALT+LEFT ARROW on keyboard to go back and click VOTE again, repeat repeat and repeat, Hehe.

 

I voted and the total number jumped by 9 counts so I voted a few more times. Each time the total vote count would go up by anywhere from 3 to 8 counts. The total count then was 8350 counts at 11 AM PDT. I just revoted, never cleared any cookies.

 

Don't forget that other people can submit their votes during the time you're looking at the polls.

 

The Holden(?) looks sorta like a 10 or 12 year old T-Bird coupe with ground effects and it does have a bit of Cavalier to my eye. But what happened to all that crap Pontiac puts all over its cars like funky looking back wings, holes cut in the hood, and glued-on looking panels on the sides? Wouldn't be a Pontiac unless it had some absurd design details.

As of 10:40AM PST on 6/20, The Z is over 10% below the GTO! There's probably some guy out in the midwest saying "i liked dem good 'ol boys.. dem Dukes always drinking that moonshine! Um hmm and that Daisy Duke she was might fine in those hot pants" Of course he'll be holding a bud lite in his left hand and clicking on the Vote for GTO button with his right hand.

My question for you guys is this: if we can get the 350Z to win the vote (even if it takes cases of bud lite if necessary), will we get our 350Z sooner?

 

How could so many people be excited about such a boring uninspired car (refering to the GTO of course)? What is the world comming to? There is a huge gap between the awful GTO and our 350Z.

There doesn't have to be. All there has to be is ONE GTO fan who wrote a script to flood the USA Today poll. It isn't a secure poll and it is very easy to tamper with, as some on this board already mentioned.

Personally I think the GTO is *BORING* and anyone who is excited about it is a fool. It looks just like any other Pontiac. It is hardly "sexy". But it IS better than that uglier than crap Mercury.

 

I did this on 6/22 and the Z appeared to be in #2 place. Thanks for the tip.

 

I can't wait for all those "what kinda car is that???...." questions to start after I get my Z. Most people that I mention it to right now didn't even know it was coming back. It will be motor trends 'Car of the Year' for 2003.
