i don't like the rims either - look heavy even though they may or may not be

notice they don't have the 3 Z trademark dots the other wheels have

are these wheels on the 05 track model or are they still the normal traditional track rims?

I think the wheels are the best part, next to the revised internals.

Of course, I get the feeling most people who buy this 300 HP model will replace the wheels, they really are nice for stock. Like someone else said, they remind me of the RX-8 wheels I like a lot.

Congrats, to be honest I thought yellow was the only color available for the 35th anniversary edition.

Personally, I would have a hard time justifying the $14k premium your car was over mine...(even if I could afford it!) Of coarse your car will have a more significant resale value, but I plan on adding the LSD, lights, and other products as time goes on. Not to be negative, just making an observation.

I always thought the 35th anniversary edition was only available in yellow. The silver looks great man, I like the rims.

Looks great, Doc. Nissan just called me and our Yellow 35th just rolled off the truck. Been waiting since November and now the last 5 hours are killing me. Ours is the 5spdauto cost from the dealer was $36281, plus tags and taxes will run me about $3k. No nav or sat radio on ours.

I think I read somewhere that the 35th comes in Yellow, Silverstone or Black. That does seem like a pretty hefty price over my Touring (8K difference)

Sweet 35th dude!

Now can someone weigh one of those "RX8" rims and report on the wheel weight?

I have the 300hp motor and have past my own break-in period (did 600 easy miles under 4.5k, couldnt wait till 1200 heh). Basically from test driving an 04 touring model and my own Z, i dont notice much of a difference from 0-60 or 1st and 2nd gears, but the top end pull from 5k-up is much nicer. Its not a huge leap that people may want to think, but i love the higher powerband and smooth power delivery... pulls strong to the redline and feels like a vtec engagement. Id say its just a .10th or two quicker in the quarter mile given equal drivers. I was really surprised how nice the stock exhaust sounds on this car, and have gotten many positive compliments on its unique tone.
