Someone ran into my Z at the mall parking lot and scraped the paint off the left rear section of the bumper and part of the quarter panel. Dropped it off at the bodyshop. $700 damage, thankfully I have a 250 deductible. Also getting the front bumper redone to get rid of the holes my dealer drilled. Works out ok because insurance is paying for the rental(a very sporty Ford escort!!). I'll have to carry traffic cones around with me from now on.
Anyone know if its possible to install cams like the police patrol cars have in theirs? So one could monitor for such hit and run ******** and maybe get their license plates? Of course u can cover all the angles but a wide field of view might work?

I think I might upgrade the alarm system on the Z with the ones that starts screaming if anyone goes near it. The alarm system that come stock with the Touring model I don't think is pressure activated, or whatever the tech term is.
1. That sounds like 1000 babies screaming if anyone came within 6 feet... some sound that you just had to get away from as fast as you could... then install cameras to watch the fools freak out...
2. Other than that.. Park far away from any possible "good parking space" which implys .. any spot where they dont have to haul their ugly butts too far to the door of the store... perferrably near a light or viewable place..
3. Or keep it in the garage and drive to work only.
I go for the third.. and sometimes.. if I have to.. the second.
EZ
20 miles to go... 20... miles .... to ... go....
