Hey I just finally got my order number, even though I ordered on Aug. 26th. Shouldn't I have gotten a W order number? My dealer assured me the order was placed in September. if that's so, shouldn't I have a W order? Who else has X orders , and when do you expect them? My dealer says January for me, although it was November at first. I know my car hasn't been built yet because I called to see if I could add Nav last week, and my dealer called m back within an hour saying that it would be no problem to add the NAV.

My order was put in October and its a W, so yeah it sounds like your dealer just put the order in this month. I think each dealer has a certain number of cars they can order each month, and the dealer may have already sold all the previous months orders and just got to yours now.

Well if he did screw me over, that sucks. At least I'll have more time to save up more.

 

I placed my order July 8th. Got my order# on 11/01. Its a "W" #. Still no VIN. Dealer says late Dec or early Jan delivery.

 

I got an X order number, just got it this week.
Ordered it from the dealer first part of last month.
They tell me it will be here in January.

 

I've got a 'W' as well. Order was placed first week of October, I'm told it'll be here late Dec, early Jan. The VIN soup show that 2 'W' numbers have been delivered, but those must have been from cancelled pre-orders or something. Most people are just getting the 'V' orders now.

Yeah, the longer it takes to get here, the more I'll have saved up. But man, I'm tired of waiting... where is it?!?
