Have you heard anything from your dealer? I've asked for something, anything in the form of an update twice via e-mail from my dealer (Bankston Lewisville) and I haven't heard a goddamned thing. I'm trying not to be a pain in the *** with phone calls, but what else can I do?

 

Asked North Texas Nissan Denton on Monday and all they said was August 20th, which I think is the same date we were always told.

Check this post, it says all preorder Z's will be shipped at once and delivered early August to the east coast. Could be true since it may take a week or two to get here which would be close to August 20th.

Ok, I don't know if it means much, but I called my dealer, and he told me that they're still expecting all their pre-orders to be delivered in August. But that's just because he hasn't heard anything differently than what they were told in January. So basically he has no idea. This is with Courtesy Nissan. He seems convinced though, that since they are one of only 10 Z stores in the nation, that they get their Z's before all other dealers. I have no idea the validity of that statement.

Also, not to poo-poo on the idea of the East Coast delivery date, but I've been hearing all along that the Z's will be shipped to the West Coast in actuality. Kinda makes since if you think about the shortest path from Japan to North America.

I believe that gentleman is confused and thinks his Z is being built in Germany. Why would the East coast get cars first that are coming from Japan? Are those ships going through the Panama canal?

 

hey InfiniteZ - I have my order through Courtesy Nissan as well. Did you talk to Joe Luna there? I've emailed him twice in the last few weeks asking for any news, and he hasn't replied at all. He used to reply to me within 24 hours. I was worried he'd left the place....
