Default Test Pipes! Is there a difference?

The only mod id like to do would be to replace the stock cat- converter with after market test pipes! at least for now...
I found these on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

what would the difference be between these and some other ie. Name brand test pipes like stillen or esprit stainless pipes!

these look high quality but i am weary or buying parts for my new z from Ebay!

IMHO, I tend to stick with the common name brands . . . that ensures you're receiving a quality product. If cost is the issue, find some on our private classifieds. I see Helix test pipes for sale every week for about that price range.

On a similar note, test pipes will make your NA vehicle extremely loud and obnoxious to some. I have them on my FI Z and I think its on the borderline--me personally, I should have got resonated or high flow cats to minimize the sound.

i am using stock exhuast will it still increase the sound that significantly? i want the stock quiet sound with a lil more flow figured that test pipes wouldd do so and maybe larger headers down the road. like the titanium from esprit!

I am doing that, its a little louder not much. You might look at the cheap pipes with resonators. And no I dont think on these quality would matter.
