Is the rear defroster bad for tint?

Default Is the rear defroster bad for tint?

Just wondering if using the rear defroster for the hatch can cause damage to tint?

i can barely see in the morning and i'm affraid to use my defroster hehe

Im about to get a full Tint, all around.. this would be helpful if anybody has experienced an issue.

Actually the rear defroster helps the tint adhere to the window. My tint guys recommended I turn on the rear defroster ever time I got in the car for the first few weeks/months.

I don't see how they could produce tint that could get damaged by a defroster...nobody would ever buy tint then.

Unless you bought the tint at your local grocery store.

Ive used mine with no problems. Id bet the tint gets much hotter on a sunny summer day than with the defroster on.

If you read the FAQ on the Tint websites that is a common question and the answer is no it does not harm the tint.
