However, I can reassure you that power delivery in my 300 is as smooth as my 350.

Michael.
Michael,

That's a bad dyno graph of mine to link... that was a week after I bought the car and it still had some tuning issues.

Here's a good BPU power graph of mine, at just 16psi:

Is that peaky?

BTW, congrats on the Z!! Let's get together for lunch sometime, I want to drive that thing.

I don't get it. People are complaining about the 350Z acceleration, and I can't find enough road to get it going. In seconds, I'm flying and running out of road, or worrying about cops. If you want a kick in the pants, ditch the 300zx, 350z, etc. and get a crotch rocket. That's acceleration, but of course you pay for that in bugs in the teeth, etc. If you want a fast, admirably handling car, stay with the 350zx. The 300 TT was great, but a new kid is here now. IMO, the 350 is leagues above the TT in looks and a great joy to drive. If you have to have a turbo to be happy in this car, you need a psychiatrist, not a turbo.

Maybe you just haven't driven a fast car?

Andi "needs a psychiatrist" B.
the B is for Boostaholic
