Default To those who think that the X is slow...

I too had the sames thought sas many of you have about the zx being slooooow. After about 1000 miles it starts to break in and loosen up, it will loosen up some more after 1500-1700 and allot after 2500 miles. I have had my z since August 28 and have just passed 5400 miles on it and it is FAST!!!!!!!!! You guys just have to be patient and let the cars break in, don't try to force the break in period. You won't be dissappointed - trust me.

I don't know anything about breaking in a X, but breaking in my Z is going well.

I was also curious what X you were talking about. Even your thread alludes to the zx. Are you talking about the Z?

No.. SilverZ is most definitely talking 350Z... I've seen it!

And I must say, I just hit 1200miles yesterday and it does feel like I uncorked a whole new can of you know what. Even before I got the entire break-in done, it seemed my engine had a more fluid sounding rev going up to 4000rpm. Almost as if the engine were winding up easier than when I first got it.

Real test will be this weekend. Going to try some launches with a buddy timing my 0-60...

I was actually close to there last night. I went to the Columbus Bluejackets game, then I hung out at a bar in the arena district afterward.

So did you do the launches over the weekend? The weather didn't cooperate did it. I was curious to see what 0-60 times you got...

Sorry, SilverZ... no data yet. Weekend was too wet to do any full bore launches. Probably will not get a chance to try again until this coming weekend.
