Yeah can't wait to see the pics, especially if you start modding it.

We may hate a Z defector but I think most of us here understand the decision and respect the Evo.

But we demand pics.

I think most of us here are open-minded enough to admit that the Evo is a very competent, versatile and respectful machine. Any auto-buff should, despite personal preferences.

Congrats.

(due to unforseeable events, I may be forced to trade in for a back seat... but my wife and kids are still rooting for the Z)

TRAITOR!!!
No I'm just kidding.
Or am I?
But seriously...you're a traitor.
But not really.

In the back of my mind I always feel like this car is going to be a PITA with only 2 seats but then I go look at it and I feel all better again! :-)

Post pics! LOL

Default Z not practical?

How is the Z not practical?

It carries my crap, it carries my Girlfriend, it carries me. I get groceries in it. I guess if you're looking to get truckloads of stuff from here to there, you should look at a truck to load, uh, with stuff.

I guess 2 seats is impractical for people who need more than two seats, hmmm

How about a G35x + a supercharger? 4 wheel drive + luxury and performance. Not quite a Z nor the performance of an EVO, but practical, quiet, and a sleeper.

It is technically impossible to argue that the z is a practical car, it just isnt man.

As for the G coupe, it has 4 seats whatever, but the back 2 are useless, im 5.8 and my hed hits the ceiling, very uncomfortable.

Thats pretty decent - congrats on your EVO. I am thinking of trading in my Z for another Z again ... I want slips and other lil treats that I didnt have the patience to wait for so I got into a base model. Its cool but I keep loosing my tail not to mention being whooped by SRT4 - Dod@@ ( I cant even say or type it) ( I see TT in my near future)

Evos are nice - I like the STI's myself. I had a G coupe for but a second - I found it to be too mature for my taste hehehehe !!

Good luck man and keep us posted cuz either way (from an enthusiast standpoint) I'd want to know how your mods and all that other fun stuff is coming along What color ? Oh wait - snap pics coming soon right !

Awwh another Z bites the bust <moment of silence>

i sat (didn't drive) in an evo at a dealership and couldn't stand the pedal ergonomics (brake and throttle were too close to me when i set the seat for the clutch distance), there was a lot of resistance in the shifter, and the rear seats were too flat. that pretty much eliminated the evo 8 as a potential new car for me. we'll see what happens with the evo9.

Hey, I have an Evo too with 37k on it and have only had one, minor, problem with it. The light which lights up my gas and temp went out, other than that it runs great.
I do miss my Z though.

i traded my evo in for a Z. I've been a Z owner for a month. The Z is faster on the street and from a roll. Evo performs better at the track.

Looks good man. How big are the stock wheels? they look kinda small to me... but sweet car anyway. Congrats man, hopefully someday you'll return to the brotherhood of the Z!
