Default Please Help!!

I removed my front seat to fix the seat movement problem and when I was reinstalling it I managed to hit my steering wheel with one of the legs of the seat and put a big *** scratch across the silver trim pieace on the left of the steering wheel. I have contacted Jeff at Performance about replacing it and the only thing to do is buy a new one ($750) or find a used one and remove it. So I am looking for a little help if anyone is using a aftermarket wheel or know where I could find a wrecked 350Z I would be very greatful. Thanks for any help anyone can give. My car turned a month old today.

cheap and easy way out is take it off, sand it down and repaint it.

Does anyone know how to take just that piece off. Does the whole steering wheel have to come off?
