How bad will it burn... might have to part with the Z already
Well thanks to the wonderful economy we are enjoying I have been out a job since mid-January. Of course I purchased my Z in mid-December...
I have income from other projects, but it makes me think.
I did get a rather good deal on a leftover '04 at the time. Daytona Blue, Enthusiast Package, spoilers, etc... just rounded 600 miles. I could hold the car but I might be more comfortable not writing that check each month (luckily I did get the 2%).
So how bad do you think I'd do if I had to let it go?

Check the Kelly Blue book price, http://www.kbb.com and sell it privately. Do not sell back to a dealer or trade it in for something else. That is when you can lose 6-8k.
I'd possibly be interested if you decide to sell, but I totally understand that it's a tough choice. There are a lot of options to weigh like how long you think it'll be until you get another job and how long you can afford to make the car payment.
I looked at KBB... based on their pricing I would only let it go between the Private Party and Retail pricing since it is in fact only 600 miles on the odometer I think that would be fair to ask.... heck I still have the plastic on the pedals and the front spoiler in the box. I can deliver too so it might make sense.
I'm in the process of building a new business venture so the lack of payments could help. Tough decisions...

I don't think the market can suck for both parties.
What I was trying to say since not many people want to buy a 350Z now, it sucks for the seller to sell his car because of the low ball offers he/she recieves.

Ouch, I would hate to get rid of my Z. But life comes first I suppose, and I know the Z isn't practical. Before you decide to get rid of it, give your local plasma/sperm bank a call
Good luck man, let us know how this turns out.
