If you want a long range lock/unlock just take the end of the remote and press it firmly up against the bottom part of your chin, where its bony, and hit the button. You will get quite a bit of extra distance out of the remote. I'm not sure why.. maybe it reverberates off your skull or something.

You might look slightly retarded doing it all the time, but give it a try... it works.

yup, works everytime for me!

Also, you can put your windows up/down with the key in the keyhole on door handle, hold the key in the close position and they will close, hold it in the open position and they will open.

you can close/open your windows after you turn off your car and remove the key, as long as you haven't opened the door.

that's all i can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet.

That is the seat fold release, like the lever at the bottom of the seat on the door side. So you can fold it forward to get to the glove box without reaching.

You can hang your gas cap on the fuel door hook

Actually they could have put 3 and a half dimples but that would real dumb. I tried to find rims with 3 rivets but couldn't find a good style. Ah well sure beats stock.

Here's one a lot of people don't know. The orange reflectors on the front bumper that everyone hates have the same 3 dimples. You have to look real close because it's a reflector so they kinda blend in. I noticed this when a little bit of dirt or dust or something got built up in one of the dimples.

****. i thought i was lame or something. I was like - how did i miss that??? my gas cap is always leaning on the paint, and i cringe when the car is dirty or gritty. but as bobbarker said....us 03's got diddled on that little feature. I think I might drill a screw hole through the gas door and put a drywall screw through the door. The end that goes through the door can hold my gas cap! Or maybe, i'll use a 3 inch lag bolt. then i can hang my carkeys on it too while i get gas. so i dont lose them, or leave them on the pump or something! What a great idea. damn, i am brilliant.

jk!

When you want to go beyond the speed limiter (aka governor) at 160 hit the emergency hazards lights and you can go way past it.

That's a good point. If anyone bought a used Z without the owner's manual, or you would simply like a copy saved on your computer for reference, go to the bottom of the page at this link:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/index.html

You can download a copy in .pdf format for all three years the car has been out (03,04,05) If you have an '03 and want to see if anything is different in the '05 owners manual, you can do that too.

Wink Cool '03 Gas Cap Hook

My '03 Touring has the hook on the gas cap door for the cap.
However, when refueling, don't hook the gas cap so that the
inner part is towards your Z, turn it outward. That way, any
thing (like gas) that's on the cap interior won't drip on your
nice zaino'ed finish.

I know on my wifes Extera, if you have the horn working on the lock, if a door is ajar, the horn will not beep, letting you know that there is a door open. Is this on the Z's. I would look it up, but my Z isn't due for another month.

There really is not that much slack, how do you hang it some other direction?

Chris
