Default Does the 2005 350z have the tire feathering problem?

I'm just wondering because Nissan said the tire feathering issue would be fixed on the later models. Now I'm wondering , is it somewhat or completely gone for 2005? Because if it is, then I'm buying the 2005 Z instead of the 2004.

After close to 5,000 miles, the stock tires do not show any signs of abnormal wear. However, since the stock tires aren't too impressive, I plan to change them out soon.

Yea, i think these cars are still too new to tell. It didn't happen on all the older models, so since there aren't that many '05s with that many miles, it's hard to tell.

If it makes any difference, whether truth or lie, the dealership I bought my 05 from mentioned that a part of the front suspension was replaced to 'fix' the problem. Take this message with a grain of salt ... I would still buy my 05 Z = it's just evil!

st@inless, I think there is some truth in that. A 2005 Z owner said he took it to his dealer and they compared an 04 to an 05 and the front and rear suspension looked different.

Well Nis350ztt, I take what the dealership tells ya with a grain of salt, especially when selling you a car = but knowing one of the finance managers as family (friends of my parents) and hearing from you = there may actually be truth to it (Thanks Nis350ztt).

Yeah, dealerships are usually the last people to know.

But...if you put an '03 and '05 on lifts and look at the suspension and tell a difference, it doesn't matter where you were when you saw it.

Well lets all just hope that the difference noted in models is a permanent fix = this difference could be the answer to all previous models! Even if not = I still love the car (beats the crossfire that I use to own) and from what I understand, simple front suspension mods are all that is necessary to correct the aggressive negative camber adjustments made from the factory.
