with the accident I was recently in and all, i`m just worried about how safe it would be for me in a Z compared to a bigger car, so I figured I`d ask you guys.

How`s the Z`s safety rating, and how would you rate it yourself based on personal experience?

I know its 5-star rated on the sides, not sure about the front and rear. I know the hood has crumple lines and the engine in the event of a head-on collision is supposed to drop drop and away from the passengers.

 

so how would you rate it compared to let`s say... nissan extera

Obviuosly, the Xterra will be more prone to flip over given its taller profile.

why everyone doesn't get their z with side airbags and head curtain, i'll never know.

 

I agree. People can't believe it when I tell them I have 2-doors, 2-seats, and 6 airbags.

And I think that is with just the front and side airbags. The side curtain should make it even more safe.
