I agree it must be the GT-R. We would have heard more about a updated Z by now.

All that I know is that the Z is slated for an interior update.

My source (Infinity tech, so don't take it too seriously, hhahaha) confirms a high powered Z in addition to the Skyline (in whatever Infinity form it will come) in '07.

From what i have read. the supra will most likely come back out, but when it does it will be nothing like the supra of old. it will be well out of most everyones price range. toyota has every intention of making it a "super" sports car.

we are talking 500+HP and in the 1-2 hundred thousand dollar range.

I heard that it was going to be two versions one in the $80,000 price range and one in that will cost around $121,000.00

All I can say is alot of power but can't use all of it! Track different story, but daily commuter or weekend warrior too much power.

I don't believe the Supra is coming back out. I read a press release a while ago (I think it was on this site) that said the Supra was not being rebuilt. However, Lexus did recently release a concept supercar... maybe thats what you guys are thinking of.

Nah, it's definitely coming out...Toyota gave the Supra enthusiasts a "clue" that they put on test MK cars when they are close to production design. Nobody knows about the engine and drivetrain yet though...

The Z is good as it is right now because it's a freaking sweet car for $30k + / - $5k depending on ur model. If they release a $60, 70, 80k Z, why wouldn't you just opt for the higher end German cars. Personally I would take a Carrera S or GT3 over any Nissan / Infiniti any day. I can't even stand Nissan customer service for my $37k car!

I agree. That's why I don't think Nissan will get the brand name on this one, gotta have better customer service for the GTR IMO.

It's probably either the GT-R or they're bringing the Nismo Fairlady E-Type over.

my guess is, the next hardcore 350z will most likely be Infiniti GT-R twin brother, but with a Nissan badge.. Just like Corvette C6, and Pontiac GTO, they share similar parts and power, but different division. One is more money, and other is lesser.

It makes no sense to have the GTR wear an Infiniti badge. Nissan is a world brand, Infiniti isn't. If they are going to release a GTR supercar around the world, it logically wouldn't wear a Infiniti badge, as half the world wouldn't know what Infiniti is.

Duh, they could release the GTR only as Infiniti here. They are doing that right now with the G35 sedans and coupes. In Japan and everywhere else, they are Nissan Skylines, only in America are they Infiniti.

I've heard about enough BS about the "supra rebirth" that I'm about to gag. I know that a bunch of folks think it's coming back but here is the actual car that Toyota is working on, and as motor trend has already stated they aren't even sure that it will be built. The suggested price on it was 150k by the MT article.

The confusion is probably surrounding the LF-C car not the LF-A car that Toyota is working on. The LF-C car will be the next generation IS replacement. Here is an article about the LF-C.
