Yeah, tell me about it! After I saw it I drove for like 2 minutes trying to figure it out. When I did, I almost felt like going back and looking for the guy to give him a thumbs up. I wish I would have found something like that for my plate but most everything is taken here in CA. I got ZIPPIN Z instead. There's nothing too clever about it but people still trip out on it.

Default clever

Yeah, my plate is not all that clever but I like it. My friends raz me everyonce in awhile cuz most of my buddies arent to in to the whole personalized plates idea. Anyways I wish I was the one to come up with my plate, but instead I stole the idea from my best friend who also has a Z back East. heres mine, ZLOCITY, here is his, ZELOCITY. Pilot Z, thanks for the idea. hahah Email me Nate when you get back from flying wherever the hell your flying. BEN

ps- there is a protologist in my town that drives a white 350Z, his plates say AZZMAN. Not really, just kidding. BEN

ok fine, maybe i went a little further into it than needed but i'm right about why its called a "350"z and a g"35" =p

other examples: fx45, q45, m45....4.5 liter v8 engine =p

lets take a look at nissan history while we're at it:

280Z - 2.8 Liter Inline 6
300ZX - 3.0 Liter V6
240 SX - 2.4 Liter i4
200 SX - 2.0 Liter i4
180 sx - 1.8 liter i4

this doesnt hold true for all cars though =p

some cars its the hp...evo fq400, evo fq420 --their hp rating

and for the record, FQ stands for "****in Quick"

That plate's hilarious...definitely a good one. It reminds me of a Fabolous lyric where he says "I'm in a 10 minutes til 9, leanin on em" except I can't think of what cars an 850 right now.

I'm tempted to personalize a plate. For the roman numerals, what was it? I like "CCCL Z"

That's pretty cool too. Too bad I wasn't creative. After reading these threads, I kind of regret what I got. I got a license plate that says "SHIFT Z". I wanted to put the underscore _ in there but it's not an option at my DMV. Only a space or a -.

Agreed. I'm 26yo now and have been through that whole scene since '93 when I lived in Hawaii. This is my 10th car and all previous cars were Honda/Acura/Nissan/VW with motorswaps, nitrous, turbo etc. I've been to court numerous times for speeding and nearly arrested once for drag racing. I look back now and see how stupid I was.

But yea, save racing for the track. You're endangering everyone else on the road.

Racing at the track is better anyways. Cause when you got the pedal down and hear "KAPOW!" and loud grinding sound with your oil pressure dropping to 0........there's always a tow truck right there to give you a ride home.

Default sure

I think it may just be real basic. Just say you ABC's/ LMNOPQRSTU,VW,XY and Z. His plate is missing the VW, hence he drives aVW thing. Thats my guess, anyone else think of something different for it? BEN
