Default I just ordered these plates for the Z. What do you think?

I spent lots of time trying to think of a Z Plate but couldn't think of a good one that wasn't already taken. I just ordered them last night so they should be here in a 2-4 weeks according to DMV. I also chose the "Mountain to Seashore" theme to blend in with the color of my car. What do you think?

10 TIL 4 = 3:50

LOL. I was going to include a Z at the end but it would be a dead give away. At least this one will make them think for a minute.

Default nice Plate

Thaiguy,

Sawasdee Khop!! I love your plate. Real clever man. Even if a 350z pulls in behind, chances are he will have to think about it for a second, unless its some real Z head like the guys on this forum. The soccer moms will be thinking about that one for the rest of the week. hahah I love it. Awesome car by the way. Those Volks GT7 in Black? Are you really Thai or is your name strand for something else? If really Thai, Whats your story? lol. I love Thailand!! I just moved back from Phuket. Was there for a year and also in Chiang Mai for a year. Anyways, good job man. BEN

Clever plate. Kinda like the guy who has 350 in Roman Numerals on his plate. Makes you think. Nice job.

That is a great plate! I like vanity plates that are creative without being arrogant. This is a good one.

Thanks Ben and everyone else who responded. I'm actually half thai. My mom is full Thai and my real father is American. I haven't been back there since I was born but I really want to go back. Most of my family lives in Surin which is near Bangkok. My uncle is one of the #1 beer distributors in Thailand so they are really well off and I can't wait to visit.

The Volks are actually Gunmetal but appear darker in the picture.

Default Z in Thailand

Well you wont see to many 350 Z in Thailand. In 2 years I saw only 1 in Bangkok. It was a silver roadster. Reason you dont see to many is the import duty and all other taxes associated with it. Here are some price examples I found when there. Prices are from a company there that sells only imported cars. note- these prices are only from memory but should be close.
Toyota MR2 (called mrs Spyder there)= 47,000$
Mazda RX8= 55,000$
350 Z= 64,000.
Modena Ferari-500,000$.
Toyota Luxury Minivan=60,000$- cant remeber the name of it.

anyways, I moved back to the US about 6 months ago and that was my driving factor, cost of Cars. I wanted a Z and wasnt about to try to come up with 64,000$ for a 32,000$ car. Got tired of driving my 150cc motorcycle around. lol. Sorry to thread jack. Back on topic!!! Nice Vanity Plate idea. Love it. BEN

I saw this VW 'Thing' once (it looks like one of those army vehicles) that had the following license plate: STUXYZ

I think that's just the coolest.

That VW one is pretty clever too. Almost too clever. Not very many peeps would get that one. It might take the mind of a 6 year old in the passenger seat of her moms windstar sitting behind that Thang, she might say "mmomy where is the vw?

Super clever....but I doubt many people will get it. On my Honda the plate is
"S TWO K" and not many people get it. Especially 4 years ago!

The VA DMV site is pretty cool, you can reserve plates and everything.
