Default Need your advice

I was told by my dealer that car would come in sometime in October. I sold my car mid-September in anticipation for October delivery. Once October approached I was told november. Now that November is here I am being told December. What do you all feel I should squeeze this dealer for- in other words get some discount or freebies? I am getting the custom two-tone leather put in- maybe I should ask for a reduced price?

Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

ares is a bit pessimistic...

I feel your frustration, but I will agree that the dealer probably wont cough up anything.

However, in december, you might be able to find one on the lot somewhere, then maybe you *could* negotiate both dealers for a little tiny discount (good luck!)

well he wouldnt be the first. tho I guess its possible, I didnt preorder, but I did haggle with the dealer to give me a car off the lot for MSRP.... not a great accomplisment, but better than paying a grand over.

its just wierd that the dealer would give you such a incorrect delivery date. or one at all if he had no clue. I would bet alot that its not nissan thats changing your delivery date, you dealers just playing games.
