Default A question about Nismo's fabrication

Some friends and I were talking about in house tuners the other day and we came across Nismo and TRD. They being Toyota fans informed me that TRD did not fabricate some of their parts (I’m not sure if it would be all). An example they gave me was the TRD supercharger for the Tacoma - its supposedly contracted out. They asked me about Nismo and I couldn’t give them a strait answer, though I do believe that they fabricate their parts in house. Can anyone clear this up?

i'm not sure about all the parts, but some are contracted out. an example is the cai, which is a rebadged aem. also, the wheels are made by rays. oh and the short shifter was designed and i guess produced by mossy. also the exhaust is fujitsobo (sp?). not sure about the other stuff.

EVERY Nismo part made in the last 20 years was not made by them.

Ah, I guess that clears it up. It makes allot of sense from an economic stand point. Thanks for the input guys.
