Default Saw 35th 350Z Track at Dealer

Long Beach, Schaier Nissan. Dealer wanted $47,510 out the door.
MSRP $39,500 Had side air, nav, 6sp, two tone seats, + all the other usual stuff.
They added $4000.00 Dealer markup. AT LEAST the wheels were not chromed. AND then they drilled holes into the front bumper for that plastic license plate frame. The horror of it all.

Dealers are unbelieveable aren't they!? They have a regular touring at my dealer that has some bolt on Nismo stuff (big wheels, body kit, wing, intake). I'm sure they didn't do anything to the inside of the motor. Anyway, the sticker on the window says $59,???! Can you believe that? Oh well, I guess I've seen worse (like the 50% markup on the S2000 when it came out). Dealers expecting $45k for a $30K car. The Corvette was cheaper at the time (and virtually still is!).

The part that hurts the most is that some poor fool will get duped into buying that when he could've been driving a brand new corvette or maybe even an M3. Poor bastard.

There's a dealer here in Houston that added 4k to the sticker for a "Nismo Performance Package," which consisted of a Nismo exhaust and intake. What idiots!

If things stay the same, I'm getting my '05 Track for under $36k OTD. Thats an $11k dollar difference.

Stupid stealerships.

Why does everyone always slam the dealers? If they can find someone to cough up the bucks that they are asking then good for them. They are in business to make money not give stuff away.

Anyone that steps foot on a dealership knows that they should ALWAYS ignore any price shown on a tag. Those prices are there for suckers or people that don't mind pissing money away and spending more than they have to. This is just common sense. Why do people always b1tch and moan about it?

Everyone that operates a retail business is in the business of making money. But there is a thing called price gouging. It's a predatory practice, plain and simple! That's why I slam the dealers.

No such thing as a 35th/Track.It is either 35th anniversary or a 05 Track.

Must be a 35th anniversary because you can't get nav in the 05 Track.

Thats what it sounds like. Between the Navi and two-tone seats, sounds like it. The 6-speed 35th's also come with the new 300 hp engine and Brembo brakes IIRC, so it'd be easy to confuse the two on the outside.

And if it didn't have Track rims, it wasn't a Track edition.
