I read the 35th comes with 300HP and 260ft lb. of Tq. My 03 Touring coems with 274 lb Tq. Why did they drop the Tq. and up the HP? I'm lost. Please try and explain this to me. I expected it to have 300 Hp and then like 294 ft. lb. of Tq.

Short answer; less peak torque, but better torque curve. There is more torque available at most RPMs below 5.5k as compared with a regular Z. The 35th also has a higher red-line.
