Z Brochures
I think all the pre-ordered customers should get the "Official" Z Brochure when it comes out. I put down a $1000 deposit in February and I believe future Zowners should get the latest and best info first. Assumming the real stuff will be in the Brochure, I want as soon as I can get it.
How about you?

Cool, we should get one then. I do hope that is NOT the big
surprise we get in the mail though. I did get a 1/24 scale
model of the Z in the mail from my dealer two weeks ago and
it's pretty sweet. Damn steering wheel is on the wrong side.
I don't know if that was corp.'s idea or just my dealer being
nice..........

What's up Mike,
Got mine from Regal Nissan off of Holcomb Bridge and 4oo. I also
got my 2001 Maxima from them and they seem like decent folks
so far. I'll know more when they try bend me over on my trade
in. Such a pain in *** to sell it in the paper. When did they say
to expect yours Mike? Told me Early October.

We could do that, we'll see what JmanZ wants us to do. I changed my order when I found out I was not going to be charged two grand over sticker. Instead of putting that 2G in my pocket, I upgraded to the touring model and I think it pushed back my order to late Sept. or early Oct. But seeing how my
birthday falls on Sept. 30 th, I may be able to get out of that
stupid Ad Velorum Tax Has your dealer given you a date to
expect your Z?

There are about -- say 8 Nissan dealers in the Atlanta area? If they each sold 10 pre-order cars (which I think is on the high side) that puts about 80 on the road! (well, even on the high side -- 120 350Z's??)
So I was thinking, what happens the first few times I see ANOTHER 350Z on the road!?? Surely, if the opportunity arose and goo 'ole wave and smile would happen. Or maybe even pull over and a little chat. But how do we know the everyday "regular" people from the my350z.com'ers?? Surely the people from this site will be much more likely, on average, the spend a few minutes saying hey and swapping stories. Also, what if we do see somebody new -- and they don't know about my350z.com?? I wouldn't mind a nice "my350Z.com" static cling sticker on my two little quarter windows (I have maxaima.org sticker on each side of my Maxima!)
So back to the point -- I was thinking maybe JmanZ would want the regional my350z.com clubs to help advertise and also get a way to "identify" ourselves with a small, unobtrusive sticker (sorry, I'm a stickler for NO extra badging or stickers, but I have made the one exception and would be willing to do likewise on the 350Z).
We should definitely have an Atlanta area list -- maybe a yahoogroups list (or -- can the area my350z.com have a list server privded by my350z??) -- it is an easy, effective way to communicate with LOW mainanence.
Okay...I'm done rambling -- maybe I should join the My350Z.com club now... I promise, it's my next click...

Oh...and BTW:
I ordered on 1/17 at Heritage Nissan in Rome (but I live in Snellville -- just past Stone Mtn on HWY 78). The name was recommended to me by JeffW (also posts on this and the "other" board). He ordered from Heritage as well. At that time, it was the closest dealer that was selling at MSRP!! (and believe me, we tried LOTS of them!)
Can't wait for my silver bullet to arrive!!

NNA is probably trying to figure out how to maintain their flawless record of mailings to we pre-order folks. You know, like timely confirmation letters and other minor stuff. Well, here's the answer for ya pilgrim:
KEEP DRAGGIN' YOUR ASSES!!! and your record will be maintained.

Carterattorney,
I would think you would have received something in the mail by
now? I would make a call! Regal Nissan did remove the 2k over
sticker bump up that they originally put on. Nissan Corp. frowned
upon that thank God......
