Get the Z....Had the G35 coupe for a month and was not impressed. main reason I went for the coupe was for a little more practicality. Got rid of it in a month and half bc I thought it was too slow. Thought the Z drove and felt the same so did not even think about it. Sold G35 coupe and got 6spd TSX for fun and mostly practicality. Decided I dont necessarily need something practical 4 months down the road and would want something faster and more fun. Sold the TSX and now am back in a Z, which by the way is a lot faster than the g35 coupe. Point to learn...should have got the Z the first time around and ended it. Only lost about 500 bucks over the 2 cars though, so 3 cars in 6 months for 500 bucks sounds great to me.......Keep it real and enjoy your youth! Get the Z, I couldnt be happier!!

Your story is really damn hard to believe, especially the $500 loss part on three different cars. But anyway, the G35coupe is not much slower than the 350Z. Do not expect the Z to feel like a different car, it won't. It's a bit quicker, and feels likewise. That's all. Don't listen to this clown up there .

Its more about the cars then how much money I lost and in general its just my opinion. Oh and by the way it was a 500 loss on the first two cars. Got a great deal on the G and sold it for the exact same price 1.5 months later...not too hard to beleive. As for the TSX, some lady hit me in the parking lot and her insurance cut me a nice check, in which I only needed half of it....so there 500 dollar loss sounds more plausible now I guess. My best friend bought it from me.

If you choose not to believe it ~ couldnt really care less, this thread is about the cars not how much money I lost.....

Yes i looked at the g35x but to be honest the style and looks dont compare to TL. Power wise its up there... but looks and comfort i think TL has it by far.

I used to agree with that, but they revised the 2005 and I think it looks better now (I still give the TL the edge in looks though). One key thing to remember here though is that AWD > FWD

Here's my two cents: I wouldn't lease a car that I am definately going to drive over the mileage limitation. The Z is just to fun to let it sit. BUY,BUY,BUY!

Test drive both. Whichever one puts the biggest smile on your face, is your choice.

GET the TL! Especially since you want a 5AT Z......

If it was a 6 speed, then I'd say Z.

I got my Z at 28. Same situation no wife/kids etc. Live alone. Drive it through a Mi winter....and I love it. Yes it is not practical...but I am never the DD when i go out w/ friends. If I need to hail stuff around, I borrow a friends car. But when I was lookin a yr ago, I wasn't even considering a sedan. Never once regret it so far.
