Anyone else experience a squeaking clutch? Usually if I listen very carefully I can hear it (there has to be complete silence). The squeaks sometimes go away, and at other time are more louder than usual. This happens when I press/depress the clutch. It happens regardless of warm or cold engine.

 

no, but I can hear it almost klunk into each gear, like when i put it in gear i hear gears working... and you can feel the stick move if your off the gas and then put on the gas

 

I have the same thing, the clunking is fine as far as what the tech told me who test drove the car with me from the dealership. He told me that corvettes have the same thing and that the Z was shifting very smooth.

 

Someone just posted a thread about this not too long ago and took it into Nissan. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but he got his entire transmission replaced.

 

mine is a lease, as long as the dealer said it is fine (I have a copy of the receipt) and if something does happen it'll be covered under warranty.

 

mine is squeaking too, i guess some stuff needs to be lubed
