Does anybody out there know who makes the non - bose stereo system? Is it still bose (the stereos look similar). Also are the speakers the same as well with the exception of a sub?

I believe Clarion makes the HU and speakers, obviously Nissan said "We don't want to spend a dime over $15 a car, we don't care how you do it, just make it happen"

I would think Bose would make all the speakers for the Bose setup, but I don't know for sure.

Yep, I know the speakers are Clarions. They are the same as 99% of all OEM speakers in that they are made of paper cones and tweeters.
