If you want to make it bellow the 14's easier , you will have to empty out as much weight out of the Z. Including running a little less than a 1/4 tank. Get a set of lightweight rims and nice grippy tires and run roughly 25 PSI in the tires. The track you choose will also determine if you can get traction off the pad. Elevation also plays a role too.

Unless you have driven your Z aggressively, you shouldn't expect a trap speed more than 97~98 stock. To trap in the 100's your Z will need to be outputting roughly 240RWHP +.

To ideally get 13.9, you will need a 60's of less than 2.1 secounds and trap roughly 99~101 MPH. Some tracks will vary.

I would recommend lowering the pressure to 28 PSI to start (Your TPS shouldn't go off either). Do a small burn-out, a couple of spins to warm up the treads, you don't need to do the huge burn outs like the cars with slicks you'll just waste rubber. Don't forget to turn off TCS/VDC, it will cut your power when your tires start spinning (it does a good job in nerfing your times).

The dyno will tell you what your outputting. A trap speed speed of 97~98 will mean your out putting ~ 230 - 240 to the wheels. Trap speeds of 99 to 101 means your roughly 245. Of course, other factors influences the WHP numbers.

If it's your first time on the track, start easy, than work your way up. Last thing you want to do is kiss the wall (Yes, people can actually hit walls in the 1/4 mile track irregardless its a straight away).

Every track is different, just run the track and grab a slip.

Ideally, you want to lose as much weight as possible, maybe even on yourself too. Fast shifting + good launch can get you in the mid 13s with your mods. Im bone stock and I ran a 13.9@103 with a 2.3 60ft last week. Like others said, track elevation, conditions, humidity, temperature, and wind speed can make huge difference.

It's been said already, but yes...the added weight will kill you.

My best has been a 13.79 @ 103.91 mph...with just an exhaust. And my 60 ft. time was terrible. With an exhaust alone I am good for 13.5, but haven't quite gotten it down yet. I ran this at 25psi in the tires and on 1/4 tank of pump gas.

Follow FLZ_boy's advice and you'll be good to go. He covered all the basics for you. The rest will depend on launch, technique, and driver skill. Launch, and then shift as fast as you can.
