Default Driving a 6spd 350Z...

Okay, I have had my 04' Z for 2,700 miles now....and I have noticed something about the tranny and clutch engagement;...it is really rough! I mean, when I get out of first, then into second, the transition is not very smooth. I feel like I am still learning to drive stick, when I have been driving manual for about a year now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? after shifiting into a gear, then letting out the clutch, it has a "jerk"! I have tried letting the clutch out slower, but I feel like I am riding it and don't feel like spending $1k on a new clutch... Please help me guyz, i wanna know what I am doing wrong, or if it is normal!

This is normal for our cars. Personally, I love the rough shifter. Gives the car more personality and feels sportier. I've driven hondas all my life and this was one of the first things I noticed when I purchased this car.

Mine seemed very demanding to shift at first. Now it's pretty smooth....

Perhaps it's breakin, or maybe it's just getting used to the car.

No, you're not doing anything wrong. Yes, I notice this car is a bit different too. After driving sticks for over 30 years now, l managed to stall this baby a couple times when it was new. But you'll get use to it.
