Fix it ticket - Cali
So I got a ticket today for not having my front license plate on. Is there any alternative to drilling holes in the front bumper? Any help would be greatly appreciated, drilling holes is the LAST thing I want to do...
I put the Zee Bracket on my new car. You just remove the towing cover, drill two small holes on the plastic on either side of it to which the Zee Bracket then screws into. You can then mount your license place rather low using the two top screws or high - near the stock position - by using the two lower holes of the plate.

use 2 sided tape to mount it and get it signed off, then promptly remove, or attach to grill with zip ties, then promptly remove after signing off.

Get a nice dealership sticker with your temp papers and slap it on the front windshield inside your car. Put the backplates on. If a cop comes from the front, they'll see its a new car. If they come from the rear, they can't see the front plates. I'm experimenting with this configuration, because I do alot of night driving I haven't been stop for no front plates yet on my Z.
In either case, I rather pay the fine than drill holes in my bumper. I hate all the flower law makers in my state, next they want side door license plates.
