why? why would it be any different if he were white? black people say it so much and they say it to eachother constantly, which is why some white people find it ok to say as well. There is no historical background behind the word "cracker", but yet it`s still the equvilent of the N word to white people. If I had a dollar for every time I`ve heard a black person call a white person a cracker, well.. i`d be able to buy myself another Z and get a turbo kit on that bad boy. bah, nevermind.. I could preach about this for literally hours, but this isn`t the place. sorry.. heh

 

haha funny thread...who here is glad they didnt get a Z or something like that at 18...i know i am. I'd probably be dead by now, even with a civic I got myself in all sorts of trouble, a lot of times i feel lucky i didnt kill my self some how.

 

boosted: good point. One thing though is that you can`t say that ALL teenagers will kill themselves with this car or drive irresponsibly. The maturity level is what makes the difference, so if a 16 year old who doesn`t feel the need to show off in front of his high school friends, then I say get a Z.

heh, and as a european man who`s best friend is black, I know. No one cares when anyone says cracker in reference to the food. But when you call someone a cracker to deliberetely insult them, that`s not ok. You don`t see white people walking around calling eachother crackers. But how many times have you seen a black person say "wassup *****?" Over a million. This is, IMO, the reason why the n word is used so much, and cracker is barely used and if it is it`s only as a complete joke.

I`m a councelor at uni-town [a camp for people to come and learn about unity. whether that be racial unity, sexual unity, cultural unity, etc. etc.] so I know pretty much everything there is to know about the history of words like ******, ******, and redskin. Did you know that a "redskin" is the equivilent to the N word, but towards cherokee Indians? It`s the truth, and yet we have it as a football team for the land we took from the cherokee indians. Now, if someone decided to make a football team called the New York ******s or the Jacksonville ******s, there would be a racial civil war.

Basically what I`m trying to say is don`t get all offended just because one kid you don`t even know uses the N word on the internet, know that if he says "nugga" he`s obviously not trying to offend the african american race, nor is he trying to somehow lure your people back into slavery. African Americans, as a whole, have come so far since the times of Dr. martin luther king and Malcolm X, that I think you should leave this little grudge against whites to the side and get on with your lives. And for you to say he`d get his *** kicked for being white and saying that is total BS. I`ve been boxing for 3 years and weighttrainging for just as long, and of course i`d open up a can of "whoop the hell outta you", if someone were to lay a finger on me for something as stupid as a word that they themselves use on a regular basis.[/
