I've had my 05 Enthusiast Roadster for 2.5 months now - 1800 miles and so far so good. I wish I'd done alittle more research on this feathering problems before I bought mine - may not have made any difference, but I might have gotten a few more $$ knocked off the final price. This is a great car to drive here in the Southwest - I'm afraid I'm going to wear the top out putting it down every day when I leave work and up when I get back to the offie the next morning.

My 03 Z build date is on Sept of 02. The OEM tires had a slight feathering at 12k. Since putting on the Michelin Pilots with 15k miles has no feathering. Never had a TSB on the suspension.

if feathering is gonna show up on these 05's its gonna be nowhere near 6k. give us another shout at 12k, if the problems been fixed, well know at that mileage.

Yeah, I second the pulling to the right on the 05. I have about 5K on my 05 and definately no feathering. but the car is pulling to the right AGAIN. I had my aligment one week after I purchased the car because it was pulling to the right, and now after 5K miles, it starts doing it again. not a big deal tho

8,300 miles on my 05 and no feathering symptoms. I do not have the "pulling to the right" problem either. I do have the following minor issues:

1) Rear-view mirror rattle (squeezing the mirror stops it for a while)
2) Rear cargo rattle (tried tightening the spare to no effect)
3) Rough idle when warm (grounding kit is supposed to cure this)

All these problems occured after about 4K miles so newbies be warned.

Still love my Z. I park it far away from other cars if possible, and often find myself looking back at it 3 or 4 times after I do.

Well I must say, I'm sorta relieved to hear the Tire Feathering issue may disappear with the 05's, because i'm hoping to pick my 05 Lemans Sunset enthuiast up in May, but they cannot find that same color/trim level in an automatic like i'd want!

I was even considering keeping my 235/45/17 Yokohama AVS E-100's for the stock Enthusiast rims, just in case the feathering does occur and I need a fix--fast. I'll be depending on my car as my daily driver for work and such, so I guess my question is: Will these tires fit the stock 17's?

6000 miles on my 05 Lemans Sunset. No feathering problems yet. I did notice the pulling to the right early on, but not so much anymore. One complaint is the floor mat...had a hole in it from where my left foot hits the clutch.

Weird how all these 05's are having a pull, but no tire feathering. Hey..i'll take an "alignment" issue over an expensive tire replacement issue any day! My car tends to grab every crack and rut in the road anyway, making it nearly impossible to drive comfortably..although I did get wider tires this time around, maybe thats the reasoning.

Pulling to the right might just be the car reacting (normaly) to road camber...

Another 05 here, 7500, also with 05 slight pulling to the right thing, not really noticible anymore after a re-alignment and no feathering.

i don't think it is camber... cause i drove on a road that is sloping to the left.. and it climbed the slope and still headed right...

Weird.

My 05 has 6000 miles, no trace of feathering and it runs straight.

1700 miles and no signs of feathering. My car also tracks straight as an arrow.
