DC Z Meeting, Sat. 11-23, Shine or Shine
TCL, GEEZEE and myself are planning on meeting in Rock Creek Park Saturday morning to compare our new Zs, IF the weather is good. If anyone else would like to come join us, either with your Z, or if you just want to check out some differenct colors. Please feel free to come by -- just remember if its bad weather, we will reschedule. (If you want to come by and are unsure about the weather, PM me Saturday morning and I will let you know if the meeting is still on.)
Here are the directions:
Time: Saturday 1000AM.
Place: One of the parking areas in Rock Creek Park, in DC. There is a parking area on GLover Road, just south of Military.
If you're East bound on Military, Glover is the first (Right Turn) Light past 27th. If you are Westbound on Military, it is the first light (Left Turn) as your leaving the Park (The street coming into this intersection from the north is Oregon Av). Anyway, go a short distance south on Glover, when the road forks, go right and the parking lot is on the right.

VA owner checking in. Sounds good. I will plan on going... However, I just heard on the news this morning that we may still have some light precip early Saturday, but clearing up later..
OK, DC area folks, let's make this one work!! There seems to be plenty area owners on this board to make it a successful meet.

I would definitely like to roll up there and check out some Zs in different colors. I still haven't seen many Zs on the road. I don't have a Z yet but will be buying one very soon...just waiting to close on a house! See you there...

Coming up from the Kennedy Center, the Zoo will be about half way to Millitary road for you. I believe if you just stay on Beach Drive after you pass the Zoo you will eventually come to the Military Road exit. Take Military west and the first stoplight (left ) is Glover.
Yes my car is filthy, also.
So, noahbuddy , I hope a filthy LeMans Sunset will do! The weather will have to be bad to keep me away.

I'll try to make it. Gives me a chance to try out my nav. Yes, I've lived in this area for 40 years and still don't know my way around DC. Stay in Va as much as possible.

So what's the plan @ 10am? Is this meet just being parked and checking out everyone's cars or is everyone going for a spin? Just curious. I have to talk my way out of meeting my girlfriends parents for lunch. Othewise count me in with the DB Track!

I never seen a Brickyard or a Le Mans in the flesh and those were my two other choices. So what colors will be missing from the meet? Redline, Pikes Peak, and Silverstone?
