I dont want the reg key that comes with the car.....I want the one in the pic with the alarm thing in the key itself.........OH JAPANPARTSSSS where you at...... LOL

That key has the lock and unlock buttons on the key, isnstead of the fob. I inquired with Nissan months ago, and they said that key is only available in Japan, and that it will not operate US destined vehicles.

I honestly don't understand the logic of Nissan spending money and time to develop this key yet choose not to make it compatible with US cars. Porsche offers a key like that and its great not needing a seperate key fob.

I guess that would be one more thing for us to complain about.

"The doors keep locking and unlocking everytime I try to start the engine".

It looks like a neat gadget but would be kind of awkward to use. The buttons look kinda small.

That's prolly why they test out these gadgets in Japan first. If it passes the test, we might see it here next year.

Can't we just glue the regular key onto the back of the regular fob? That'll solve the problem....well kindof! j/k
